What's in a name?
So, after several of the bloggers I read regularly posted bits and pieces about Wikipedia, I decided to do a quick search on my name. Turns out it isn't a bastardization of a French name after all! Woo hoo! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbette

That's awesome! You know, I always enjoyed the story of Jacob and his flock of spotted sheep...one of the first stories of genetic manipulation. Take that, Gregor Mendel!
but god damn those jacob sheep are ugly. and barbette sounded so feminine. come to find out, its a pretty butch name.
hey now, SV, I kinda like the jacob sheep and all their freakiness. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...or is that bee holder?
