Rosslyn Pictures

Here they are...Pictures taken with a sub-par digital camera at Rosslyn Chapel during our honeymoon. These are a few of my favorites...the Apprentice Tower (thought to house the Holy Grail), Lucifer (fallen angel tied in ropes), the Little Green Man (pagan Aztec God), and a few stained glass windows. There were also carvings of agave plants and maize all over the place (along with the 5 point flower/star associated with Masons), but we were unable to get pictures of those on the digital camera. That's the cool thing about Rosslyn Chapel...and subject to many a different theory. Either someone had a 'vision' or Columbus wasn't the first to make it to the America's and back with tales and evidence of strange stuff.

It's a beautiful church with so much legend and history attached. You have captured some magnificent pictures there.

Isn't an awesome place?? We got really lucky and got to the village before a wedding was to take place, so the Rosslyn staff let us tour the church without having to pay the admission fee. Thanks for the picture compliment (most of those were taken by the hubby..).
