Bee Babe Turns ONE!
My darling little baby is now officially ONE! We all celebrated on Saturday, her actual birthday. Wonderful weather, lots of family and friends made for a great day at the park. Of course, now I'm swamped at work and can't do justice to the day, but here are a few pictures of my TODDLER! Eesh, where has that year gone? And I wonder what the next year will bring!

This one is pre-birthday cake...and pre-nap! I think she was too sleepy to smile in this one!

i'm so sad that we weren't there. poo! she looks as if she enjoyed herself. violet had her first (extremely tiny) taste of ice cream the other day (which was pretty much the only sugar she'd ever had) she was up until past 9 jabbering like a fool. she'll be having banana bread for her birthday! wanna have lunch this weekend? conor wants to go to "the mellow mushroom" which sounds a little shady.
Bee babe was WIRED after the cake. My family kept asking where her cake was (they think that I should have made two...one for the guests, and one for Bee's consumption. This is after I've had to fight them on not giving her sugar!!). She had the tiniest bit of cake and managed to stay up without a nap until 7:30 that night.
Lunch sounds great! Let me check with Gene, though, to make sure. Oh, and the Mellow Shroom is AWESOME. Homemade pizza with great toppings (artichoke heart pizza...yum!).
conor says saturday lunch or sunday dinner, because they don't open until 3 on sunday. let me know.
How's Sunday dinner-ish? I've jsut been informed that we will be "Where the Tigers Play" on Sat. (Clemson U. for those non-carolineans out there).
we're very excited. we have a picnic tomorrow too. 2 outdoor adventures in one weekend. wow!
sad. when he looked at his schedule..it said sunday "off". but on nights that means 7pm sunday-7am monday, and last night was the switch from days to nights. we suck. and i really wanted pizza (so i made some at home.)
Ha! I made pizza too!! After, of course, pouting for a few minutes about not getting artichoke covered white pizza. Beebabe was being very difficult yesterday...even a trip to the park and swinging for half an hour didn't really put her in a good mood, so perhaps its best we stuck close to home. She is cutting more teeth, I think. OH, gotta plug the Greek Fest this coming weekend...lemme know if you are interested!
spanakopita? mmmmm.... conor works thu,fri,sat night. so if he can get in some good sleep in the morning, perhaps we can go.
cool!! You'll definately have to let me know if you can make it...Gene is playing security guard, so you'll have to try and sneak past him (i'm trying to convince random people to do fake thefts...poor guy!). It goes on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (sunday is noon-7 I think).
