I've been neglecting this...

So maybe I'm not as adept at blogging as I had hoped to be. Or perhaps it is just that I've been too busy. Since it sounds much better to say that my life is amazingly interesting and hectic than I'm a lazy person, I'll just use that excuse. Actually, my life IS hectic!

In the past few weeks, we have had many changes! Elene is now in the process of cutting not one, but 4 new teeth! My poor baby was so exhausted yesterday that she fell asleep playing on her mat. She just put her head down and zonked out. The good news is that it seems they are all erupting through the gum now, and her pain has gone done quite a bit. I never would have thought that a natural process in my daughter (teething) would be able of physicaly hurting me. I held her and cried with her a few nights ago when it was really bad. Poor baby.

She is not only a teething babe, but also a tumbling babe. Her dad left her on the bed for all of a split second, and she rolled off. Granted, I'm aware that this happens to most, if not all, children sooner or later. She was fine after a few minutes...DH on the other hand was not. He has questioned his parenting skills ever since and is FINALLY back to where he was (it has been 2.5 weeks since the tumbling accident) in his confidence as a dad. Should I be ashamed that I'm secretly glad that her first tumble (of many, I am sure) happened with him?
